We’re kicking off 2026 with our first Singles Party in The Shire, bringing it back to The Botanical (Highfield), Caringbah for a fun, flirty night built for real-life connections.

No swiping. No endless messaging. Just a private space for our singles, set up for mingling, laughing, and meeting people naturally.

Good energy, easy conversations, and a room full of people who are genuinely open to connecting.

Whether you’re local to the Shire or happy to travel for a good night out, you’re invited!

We can’t promise love at first sight… but we’ve had it happen more than once.

At the very least, you’ll walk away knowing more people than when you arrived. It’s social, fun, and makes meeting people feel easy, even if you come solo.

Meet Your Match - walk in already matched

Before the event, you’ll fill out a short profile.

No profile by Thursday 19 Feb, 5pm → no match (so please fill it in).

Then we get to work on the rest.

On the night, you’ll find a sealed envelope waiting for you with clues to your matches, helping you mingle and connect at your own pace. Our team will be nearby if you need a little nudge.

Perfect Match – Live Game - optional

It’s like a dating show without the cameras. Totally optional, hilarious, and a great way to connect if you’re game. You must register your interest if you wish to take part.

One brave single takes the hot seat (blindfolded), asks a few questions to a handful of potential matches, and then picks the one they’re most drawn to. The blindfold comes off, they meet for the first time!

Drink voucher for participants, applause for everyone else.

Participation is completely optional, and contestants are pre-selected from those who opt in and fill out their profile. We're only doing 2 games - one female contestant with 3 participants & one male contestant and 3 females, so it's not gonna take up most of the night.

Do I need to come with someone?

Nope. Most people come solo. It’s totally normal here. You’ll feel comfortable walking in on your own, and by the end of the night you’ll know plenty of people.

What is Meet Your Match?

Meet Your Match is our signature way of helping conversations start naturally.

Before the event, you’ll fill out a short profile. On the night, you’ll receive a sealed envelope with clues to your matches giving you an easy way to connect without pressure or guesswork.

If your profile isn’t completed by Thursday 19 February at 5pm, we won’t be able to match you on the night.

Do I need to upload a photo to my profile?

Yes, including a photo really helps. The more detail you share, the better we can make thoughtful matches and help conversations feel natural.

Is my profile confidential?

Yes. Your profile is completely confidential and is only used by our team to create matches for the night. It’s not shared publicly, not posted anywhere, and not shown to other guests. The clues in your envelope are designed to help start conversations, not reveal personal details.

Is Perfect Match mandatory?

No. Perfect Match is optional and run with only those who have opted in to be chosen. We will only be running two games of this on the night.

What age group is this for?

All ages are welcome. Our space fits 150+ people, we find everyone naturally gravitates toward their own age group, the mix always works well.

What should I wear?

Whatever makes you feel confident and comfortable for a night out. Think relaxed, social, and “I feel good in this.”

Is this just for people in The Shire?

The event is in The Shire, but everyone’s welcome. If you’re happy to come for a good night out, you’ll fit right in.
