Welcome to Singles Mingles! By using our website (www.singlesmingles.com.au), attending any of our events (in person or online), or using our matchmaking services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. ABOUT US

Singles Mingles provides in-person and online singles events, as well as personalised matchmaking services, designed to help singles connect in a fun, natural, and respectful way.

2. EVENT TERMS

Age Restrictions: All events are 18+. Some events have age-specific brackets, please check the event listing before purchasing a ticket.

Bookings & Tickets:

• All tickets must be purchased in advance online.

• Door sales may be available only if the event is not sold out.

• Entry will not be permitted without a valid ticket.

 

No Refunds Policy: All ticket sales are final. We do not offer refunds for any reason, including:

• Change of mind

• Illness

• Scheduling conflicts

• Travel issues

• Personal emergencies

• Technical problems during online events

 

This policy is in place because we plan our events based on final numbers, gender ratios, and (for in-person events) catering and venue logistics.

 

If You Can’t Attend: While refunds are not provided, we may, at our discretion:

• Transfer your ticket to another date (with at least 7 days notice)

• Provide a credit valid for 6 months

• Allow you to transfer your ticket to a friend (with 3 days prior notice)

 

Event Cancellations & Changes: Singles Mingles reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or change any event due to unforeseen circumstances such as venue issues, low attendance, or extreme weather.
 

If an event is cancelled by us, you will be offered:

• A transfer to the rescheduled date

• A credit valid for 6 months to use on another event

 

Behaviour & Conduct: We are committed to creating a respectful, welcoming, and inclusive environment. Any form of inappropriate behaviour, harassment, excessive intoxication, or disruption may result in removal from the event without a refund. \

 

Refusal of Entry: Singles Mingles reserves the right to refuse entry to any individual who has previously been removed, suspended, or banned from other singles or dating events, platforms, or services due to misconduct, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour. This is to ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees. Entry may also be denied at the discretion of the Singles Mingles team if we have reason to believe a participant’s presence may negatively impact the event or its guests.

Liability Disclaimer:
By attending our events, you acknowledge that all interactions and outcomes are your own responsibility. Singles Mingles is not liable for the actions or behaviour of other attendees or for any personal consequences resulting from event participation.

3. ONLINE SPEED DATING TERMS & CONDITIONS

How It Works: Online speed dating includes a series of timed, one-on-one video chats with singles in your age group and area, hosted on our secure video platform.

Attendance Commitment: Because matches are created in real-time, all participants must log in on time and stay for the full event. No-shows and late arrivals impact the experience for others and may result in removal without a credit.

Tech Requirements: You must have a stable internet connection, camera, and microphone. We are not responsible for technical difficulties on your end that affect participation.

Match Results: You will receive your mutual matches within 24 after the event. Singles Mingles does not guarantee romantic compatibility or ongoing connections.

Safety & Conduct: Please use discretion when sharing personal information. If we receive reports of inappropriate behaviour, we reserve the right to deny future access to our events and platform.

4. MATCHMAKING SERVICES

Scope of Service: Our matchmaking packages may include personal profile creation, introductions, feedback, and date coaching. Each package will outline what is included.

No Guarantees: We do our best to find compatible introductions, but chemistry is not guaranteed. Matchmaking is a personalised process and outcomes may vary.

Information Accuracy: You agree to provide honest and accurate information to help us create the best possible matches.

Privacy: Your information is confidential and will never be sold or shared with third parties without your permission.

5. WEBSITE USE

Respectful Use: You agree to use our website lawfully and not to engage in any activity that could harm the site or other users (e.g., spam, hacking, or fraud).

Intellectual Property: All content, branding, logos, and materials on the website belong to Singles Mingles and may not be used without permission.

Third-Party Links: We may link to external websites (venues & sponsors). We are not responsible for the content or policies of those sites.

6. MEDIA CONSENT

By attending a Singles Mingles event, you consent to being photographed or recorded. These photos or videos may be used for promotional purposes across our digital and print platforms. If you do not wish to appear in event media, please notify a staff member before the event begins.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Singles Mingles is not responsible for the outcome of any interactions, matches, or communications that occur during or after an event. We do not guarantee romantic success or compatibility. All services and participation are at your own risk.

8. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from your use of our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
